I set the wedding cake up at the Grand Hotel in Tynemouth. three tiers – each really tall – with edible sugar paste lacework around the base of each layer. The flowers are edible sugar paste roses as well. Apart from the ribbon & some structure to keep it up, everything edible.
Next time I’ll take the picture from the other side so it’s properly lit, rather than having to boost the light & getting this slightly out of focus grainy look….duh. I suppose that’s why i’m a cake maker rather than a wedding photographer.
